The greatest source of scholarship money is from the colleges themselves. Research them on the financial aid page of the college website.
The next best sources are local opportunities. The first places to look locally are: chambers of commerce, fraternal organizations (Lions, Elks, VFW, American Legion, etc.), your church, your financial institution, etc. The counseling/guidance office at your high school will be able to provide you with a list of local scholarships in your region.
